Flashbacks and Throwbacks since 2008

I thought it would be fun to revisit and share some old photos from past Januaries. It's a lot less pressure than chronological posts (it's crushing me). The pictures are doing nothing but sitting in a hard drive so I thought I'd give it a go...
I get so caught up looking at these pictures and how far we've come and what amazing changes there have been for Gary and I. I definitely love him as my baby maker.
Also cliche, but hashtag blessed.

I think it's safe to say that by Elena's first birthday, we closely resemble a zoo. Happy Thursday everyone!

small town charm - Dublin, Texas

I am no photographer but it won't stop me from enjoying snapping some shots of my family during a good visit to the country. I had asked them if they wanted to take a few pictures at the new Dublin Original soda that they've installed in downtown Dublin. Of course, my family obliged and my little brother even dressed up!
This new 'soda bottle' was installed back in November and I figured it was the perfect tourist spot for these native Dubliner's to enjoy and have some memories.

And as soon as we arrived, Elena took off like a madwoman. She ran circles around that thing and escaped my camera more times than I could count. Jonah was whiney because he didn't bring his jacket and Andrew learned to drop the peace sign, still with a toothless grin.
Moomie was selfie-ing it up with all her children and grandchildren. Next, she displayed her pint-sized love with the enormous bottle of pure cane sugar concrete. hilarious!
...and I was actually in some pictures too! i can't believe it.
this belle was as easy going as can be. she's down for anything, whenever, with whoever. I wish i had half her demeanor --she's my best subject.

Of course we had to do the "jump" shot. I love that air and the enthusiasm!
this little girl had a lot of sass that day. it was adorable and scary.
we took family portraits even though a sister was missing. and someone just really wanted to be in the photo...
you'll have to forgive my frizz mess....I have no excuse.
These cheese heads just wanted to goof off, which I love because it's fun to watch them but it was getting so cold I just wanted to finish up.
Loved watching the kids run around and play around with their aunt and uncles though. Sweet pics for the scrapbook now :)
I'll leave you with these gems. If you're ever coming into Dublin on Hwy 377 from Stephenville, - look to your right and you can't miss this beautiful yellow wall depicting a rainbow gone terribly wrong and all things cowboy. It's the best.
Dawna and I tried getting the "jump" shot together and it was a no go--ha!
this wall.....it's my thing...i hope you understand.

I hope you've had a good start to your 2017. We have. So let's have another great week, do good and be good!
